Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, implementing and measuring all aspects of our global digital marketing activity that cut across a range of product categories, brands, and customer segments. This person will utilize digital tools and platforms, social media, advertising, email marketing, marketing automation, tradeshows, brand management, and drive the new product launch process, to form cohesive digital marketing campaigns across SGP.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with Business Managers and Commercial Director to plan, develop and execute go the overall marketing plan for SGP which aligns with the new business development and department strategic priorities.
  • Executes marketing communication elements of the marketing plan, develops lead generation priorities, and marketing campaigns. Develops the marketing communication mix.
  • Drives the new product (NP) launch process across various business defining resources, timing, needs, and components.
  • Coordination and execution of key digital priorities, which include but are not limited to marketing automation, email marketing, SEO, website optimization, social media, salesforce targeted promotion/ campaigns
  • Develops promotional and collateral marketing materials & coordinates across business units with Product Managers, R&D and technical experts. Responsible for all trade show strategies, development, support.
  • Maximize MAR-COM investment through improved mix and penetration, monitored and dashboard metrics, alternative media.
  • Interface with key digital partners and contacts, including internal vendors (IDS, INDEC) and external vendors and/or agencies (GlobalSpec, ThomasNet, AzoNetwork, etc); vet and negotiate with new vendors as necessary
  • Leverage trends, insights and best practices in B2B marketing to drive innovative and effective communications strategy, and communicate internally as appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 5+ years of experience in future product marketing, current business marketing communications, branding, email marketing, value proposition and messaging
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills utilizing strong listening skills and a logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas
  • Detailed knowledge of Digital Marketing Channels, including key Social Media channels
  • Must have high energy, creativity, confidence, passion for the job, decisive eye for detail, exceptional teamwork and communication skills, and an eagerness and drive to keep up with new technologies and training
  • Detailed knowledge of and experience working with Creative Agencies to develop campaigns and marketing collateral
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant software and technology platforms including but not limited to, Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Pardot, Google Analytics and AdWords, search engines, and Salesforce
  • Experience working for manufacturer or B2B distribution model a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Drupal CMS Platform preferred (7+)
  • Demonstrated strong project management experience
