Saint-Gobain Mobility is seeking a passionate Machine Services Intern to help improve processes within our extrusion operation.

Daily Activities Include: 

  • working directly with the Engineering team in the review of work flow processes
  • Improve and/or recommend changes to current processes and systems

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing/enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing degree (Bachelors or Masters) within mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Must be a “hands on” person

Additional Description

  • Review all process data for Line 6 from past runs and help update the SOCs and Ignition recipes. 
  • Setup HALO Lens for Films procedures to create virtual training for the operators.
  • Time studies for tasks operators are engaged in to better understand workload for Film operators.
  • Assistance in documenting procedures for the New slitter.
  • Assistance in documenting SOCs for the new die.
  • Assistance in determining accuracy and deviations from existing SOPs in films.
