Position Description

Job Summary

This position is tasked with safe and proper delivery of CHRYSO admixture products to customers in the Royse City, TX area. The position may also be responsible for logistics duties at the plant as needed.

Interfaces and Responsibilities:

Key internal interfaces will be with plant personnel,Supply Chain Manager, Director of Operations and other members of the CHRYSO Inc team. This position will work collaboratively with the entire organization in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Perform daily Pre/Post trip inspection on vehicle before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, and damage to the vehicle
• Maintain DOT driving logs including; working hours and vehicle/repair status
• Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew
• Verify vehicle position is correct and that any special loading equipment is properly positioned
• Safely load and unload all equipment including but not limited to; pallet racking, shelving, conveyors, carts, totes/chemicals etc.
• Secure load for safe transfer
• Obtain required signatures for all loads picked-up and delivered
• Verify amount of equipment with the driver/customer/manufacturer before departing from the location
• Effectively communicate and interface with the customer
• Report all issues (delivery, equipment, or customer) that arise to your manager

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Tanker endorsement or ability to obtain required
• 3-5 years of CDL driving experience
• HAZMAT certification required
• Current valid CDL required – Class A or B
• Certified forklift operator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Representing CHRYSO with a courteous professional manner and attire
• Work independently as well as in a team
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, stoop, squatting, sitting, and, driving etc.
• Will be exposed to all weather conditions and confined to the cab of a truck for long periods of time. Work environment can vary depending on the location of the delivery.
