What’s the Job?

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Sales, this position is accountable for the Eastern United States’ regional insulation sales and market development. A focus of the role is to achieve the profit objectives and market share goals for the Residential and Commercial Insulation business, in conjunction with implementing both the short and long-range strategies established by the business unit. The incumbent will have a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Managing and providing strong leadership to the entire East Region team (including coaching, training and development of 1 District Manager and 3-5 Territory Managers).
  • Providing close support to distributor and direct-buy contractor sales efforts.
  • Working in conjunction with Product Management to provide timely feedback regarding market opportunities, competitive intelligence, and product requirements.
  • Managing relationships of high level major accounts.
  • Handling strategic account planning and collaborative development with TM’s.
  • Meeting or exceeding annual sales and profitability targets (may include other goals – product mix, market share, distribution and pricing decisions).

Required Qualifications

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6-8 years progressive experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated success selling through distribution channels and contractors direct.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize.
  • Superior leadership, competitive spirit, and desire to win.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities is a must.
  • A proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, penetrating new markets, and developing new business.
  • Anticipated travel: 50% annually / 2-3 nights per week with the ability to drive for extended periods
