Territory Manager - Southern Indiana

Position Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the full range of Key Account management activities associated with servicing primary automotive, auto tier 2 suppliers, Bearing, Foundry and Steel. A thorough understanding of commodity management and value analysis is a must for this territory. The incumbent would work closely with specialty distributors to provide value added and cost savings reports to ensure market share growth. This territory has a very dominate automotive customer base with Steel, Foundries and Bearing accounts. This is a $4.1M Key Account territory.

Required Qualifications

Interested candidates should have a proven sales record managing large accounts and relationships with Commodity Manager partners. Strong technical aptitude in Bonded, Coated & Superabrasives, as well as organizational skills is required. The incumbent should have an undergraduate degree in business or an engineering discipline. This position requires a self-starter, highly motivated individual who works well with others and with minimal supervision. Five years or more of abrasive experience and value added technical skills in all abrasive applications are necessary attributes for success. Proficiency in Microsoft office, Salesforce, web applications, Teams presentations, contact management and other forms of data analysis is necessary.

The candidate can live in either the South Indianapolis area or the Louisville, KY suburbs. Indiana is a great sports area with many teams and activities to enjoy. Being in the Midwest the cost of living and value for your dollar is considered one of the best areas to live.
