Primary responsibility of Site Controller is to be a business partner to the plant management, actively taking part in the continuous improvement process and assessing risk and opportunities for the business. The position will be responsible for the adherence to financial policies and ICRF controls, improving internal business processes to support the Life Sciences and Seals growth/profitability model, and key staff member of the plant leadership team serving as the Plant Manager’s “right-hand”. Provide financial analyses and recommendations to ensure the site in aligned to strategic objectives set by the SBU & SOA; moreover, “proactive” as a business partner aiding the decision-making process of management on corrective actions/countermeasures, and enforcing ownership & accountability.

The Site Controller will lead the annual budget, RF1 and RF3 forecast, strategic plan process at the site and providing accurate explanations of significant variances, including analysis of actual vs. prior year, budget and/or forecast. Focus on timely month-end results/reporting but importantly strategic planning to ensure the site is growing profitability. Attention to detail is an absolute must, providing factual data in order to quickly identify problem areas. 

The Site Controller position will lead the processes of the month-end close to ensure alignment of the corporate deadlines, prepare, approve general entries/reconciliations (as needed/required), and ensure accuracy/integrity of the balance sheet (quality of working capital, changes in fixed assets, liabilities, etc.).  Lead the annual standard cost development process for the site to ensure transparency of product cost (contribution & gross margins). Responsible to ensure all plant accounting activities comply with the processes outlined in the IFRS, ICRF,and other policies, and sound business practices.

The Site Controller will also lead all analyses necessary for a good understanding of the business performance, for example price, volume and mix analysis, tracking of labor costs, control of fixed expenses and monitoring of non-quality costs, inventory levels against service levels, etc.


Required Qualifications

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ Years Controller or Cost Accounting Experience in a manufacturing/plant environment. 

Additional Description

  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPS/CMA
