The Process Engineer will provide support to Engineering programs within the defined World Class Manufacturing (WCM) framework, in a manner consistent with the Principles of Conduct and Action of Saint-Gobain. Applies and executes engineering principles and theories to the development of improved products and processes. Identify and develop systems, procedures and processes to assure required product quality.  Maintain cost, machine efficiencies and safety objectives for process/quality functions.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
    • Process Engineer I:  0 – 3 years of experience
    • Process Engineer II:  3+ years of experience
  • Experience with developing processes for the manufacturing of polymers processes involving molding, skiving, extruding, mixing, coating, curing with a focus on automation, optimization and safety
  • Experience with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and optimizing processes based on system data analysis

Additional Description

  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues at various levels
  • Respectful communication and ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Experienced in analyzing and presenting data in graphical and other forms
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Working knowledge of ISO methodology
  • Ability to travel 5-10% domestically and internationally
