In the last few years, Saint-Gobain made an environmental commitment to reach carbon neutrality by 2050 and is actively building a path toward a more circular economy. To support these ambitious objectives, Saint-Gobain’s North American R&D center is looking for mission-driven, talented, and energetic entry level researchers to join our team in assessing and improving the sustainability of Saint-Gobain’s extensive product line. The new team member will split their time roughly 50/50 in (1) supporting business unit R&D teams in evaluating the environmental impact of existing and new technologies through lifecycle assessments (LCA) and identifying levers for reducing environmental impact, and (2) working in the laboratory to help develop products that are more environmentally-friendly or support sustainability-related technologies. Given the diversity and breadth of Saint-Gobain’s products, candidates will have the opportunity to gain exposure to and tackle sustainability challenges in a range of different industry sectors, from building construction to aerospace. In this cross-functional and highly collaborative role, candidates will also have the opportunity to learn from a network of sustainability experts within the company and participate in the development of training programs for R&D and operations. Come join our innovative, passionate and entrepreneurial community at Saint-Gobain on our quest to Build a Better Home!
