Incumbent will demonstrate our superiority in products through hands-on demonstrations at body shops, automotive jobbers, and warehouse distribution. This position is a key growth position, and a great opportunity to learn all aspects of the business. The overall goal of this position is to travel a large geography in the assigned territory in support of our selling efforts. Time will be spent putting on sanding demonstrations and facilitating training of how to showcase our growing product portfolio.
Interested candidates should have proven sales record managing medium and large accounts with a strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and interest in automotive refinishing. The position requires a BS/BA degree or 2-3 years of progressive technical sales experience in automotive refinishing applications. Candidates must have an interest in fieldwork and hands on demonstration and promotion of an automotive aftermarket product line. This position requires a self-starting, highly motivated, individual who works well in a team environment and with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web applications, contact management and other forms of data analysis is necessary.
Permanent residency in Canada is necessary as is the ability to travel to the USA. Valid driver’s license is required.
The successful candidate will be required to attend a mandatory 4 to 6 week training program virtually and hands-on in the field with an AAT from Saint-Gobain.
