Required Qualifications

The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist is to support Fluid Transfer (FTS) Business Unit (BU) in a team setting. This position is responsible for developing and distributing customer-engaging content across various channels and spearheading our social media marketing efforts, and more importantly communicating the Business Units’ vision, branding strategy, position and product offerings to the marketplace. This role will have the responsibility for various facets of Marketing Communications, including content editing and generation, event coordination, social media and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will be a passionate writer and thinker who can communicate clearly both internally and externally to multiple audiences.

Essential functions

Create and deliver the content that clearly communicates and promotes the FTS BU’s value and product offerings to the serviced customers and markets:

  • Work with the appropriate functional activities (Marketing, R&D, Engineering and Operations) within FTS BU to solicit and co-develop thought leadership and promotional collateral, e.g. datasheets, brochures, whitepapers, journal articles, newsletters, graphics, flyers
  • Develop a robust digital execution / delivery methodology for the above noted content, e.g. posts, eblasts, surveys, marketing/social media campaigns, analyze & report on effectiveness of campaigns
  • Support the branding strategy and associated roll-out plan internally and externally
  • Manage and track 3rd-party vendors on e-material, such as video, info graphic, CAD drawing

 

Maintain and optimize the websites related to the FTS BU:

  • Harmonize the existing websites with up-to-date content
  • Develop an SEO methodology in conjunction with other digital tools (e.g. PIM, CRM, and Salesforce), and then identify of key metrics to track and improve our performance
  • Monitor and benchmark competitive websites, and implement best practices

 

Facilitate the trade show activities: in coordination with the Marketing team on managing the logistics, collateral, scheduling and sample coordination to support the trade shows

 

This position is responsible for the promotion of a wide range of products manufactured in ~10 sites around the world. The target markets are technical industries, some of which are highly regulated. Finally, most MarCom initiatives (trade shows, publications, digital media) will have an international reach, and some will have to be designed for specific countries.


Additional Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ MarCom experience in B2B environment; strong experience on promotion and content creation, experience with large MarCom projects such as social media, campaigns, branding, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-national matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and Oral Communication Skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop, database management and internet marketing.
  • Project Management, resource planning experience.
  • Thorough knowledge on digital tools, e.g. SEO, PIM, CRM, Salesforce.
  • Industry experience on Food & Beverage, Chemicals, Personal Care preferred.
