Position Description
Job Summary
Provide prompt glazing and frame quotes, interpret blueprints, analyze architectural drawings and price the appropriate system to meet code requirements and customer project using company software. Provide follow-up with customers, Independent Sales Reps and Regional Managers as needed to maintain a high level of sales and establish growth in the market.
Required Qualifications
Duties will included but not limited to: Detailed estimates, reading blue print plans and specifications, ability to communicate well with architects, general contractors, customers and field employees.
Excellent written skills, must be organized and highly motivated, self-manageable, and willing to go the extra mile when asked. Excellent phone sales skills; a team player and be able to work with frame estimating software; as well as excel, word, outlook, and other programs including: V-6, GDS or Partner Pack experience required.
Door Hardware experience is a highly desired.
Additional Description
Bachelors level degree or equivalent work experience. Architecture or Engineering preferred.
Experienced in interpreting plans and specifications to determine the best possible option to meet customer project requirements.
Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience estimating in a building product environment. Preferrably construction related experience estimating in glass and glazing, (aluminum or steel fabrication), fire rated fenestration products a plus.
Knowledge of building codes and product applications as well as experience in blueprint reading and estimating skill.
Proficient in Microsoft office.
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
