Northeast Regional Sales Manager:

This home office based position will be located within the Northeast territory, which includes Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey,  Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. 

The Northeast Sales Manager should excel in identifying sales opportunities, developing relationships with key, strategic decision-makers and managing the sales process. Architectural sales, glass & glazing industry experience a plus. The job requires the ability to collaborate with Regional Independent Representatives, other Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales team, on multiple projects. This position is responsible for planning travel, effective appointment setting and requires good written/ communication skills. Ability to effectively interface with architects, contract managers, general contractors, contract glaziers and sales representatives in order to provide responsive pricing and code compliant product and design solutions (particularly related to fire protection and safety glazing).


Required Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience   

Strong follow-up and negotiation skills required, some travel may be required to support the outside sales force. Must be a team player, must be skilled in the Microsoft Office environment. Execute the job with a positive attitude towards customers and a willingness to assist coworkers. Stay apprised of products additions and eliminations as they occur. Ensure that clients and prospects information communicated through the CRM.

Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree preferred in a related field of study
  • 5+ years experience in Architectural and Contractor Sales
  • Good knowledge of construction administration and procedures
  • Price negotiating skills required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective presentation skills before a group

  • Analytic skills and open to improvements / changes
  • Ability to perform in fast changing work environment
