This position is responsible for a full range of account management activities associated with developing, expanding and servicing a large, technical territory. Account base has significant market share with competitive potential. Accounts are comprised of aerospace, railroad maintenance of way, automotive components, foundry, bearing and small engine. Collaboration with distribution varies from large integrators to traditional local and national organizations. Territory accounts are technical in nature and require strategic, focused planning and execution. A thorough understanding of PSP (value analysis) is a must for this territory.
Interested candidates should have a proven sales record managing complex industrial accounts and/ or Specific End User accounts. Strong technical aptitude in Bonded, Superabrasives, Coated, and Surface Finishing and very good organizational skills are required. The incumbent should have an undergraduate degree in a business or engineering discipline. This position requires a person who is highly motivated, works well with others and is capable of managing a complex territory with limited supervision. A minimum of 5 years of value-added technical sales experience in all abrasive applications would be a very desirable attribute in an individual interested in this position. Proficiency in PSP, Microsoft office, CRM, web applications, contact management and other forms of data analysis is necessary.
