SageGlass is seeking a Product Specialist to join the Product Management team!  This will be a key position in bridging the gap between market and manufacturing.  The Product Specialist will work on several product-focused projects that touch all stages of the business from assessing market trends to manufacturing specifications to post-sale customer feedback and work with nearly all functional groups within the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the Product Management team with portfolio-based and new product development projects
  • Work with cross functional teams to drive business outcomes
  • Research and analyze market trends
  • Assist in Voice of Customer research on product function and usability
  • Work with Business Development, Sales, and Field Operations to understand the market in relation to the product
  • Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams to understand technical aspects of the product
  • Work with Product Management and Regulatory Compliance teams to understand industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Work with external vendors and agencies to coordinate project deliverables
  • Work with global internal teams to assist in localization and optimize commercialization of content for regional markets

 


Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, STEM and business related majors preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in product management, project management, business analyst or similar roles
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Detail oriented approach
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Desire to learn new technologies, processes, and skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet ever changing business needs
  • Domestic travel up to 15%
