Position Description

Job Summary

This position requires an individual with high energy, who is self-motivated along with a demonstrated track record of success. The candidate will be responsible for a full range of account management activities associated with selling and servicing a geographic, business development territory comprised of medium to large distribution and end users in the Industrial, Welding and Construction channels.

The candidate will also be responsible for managing & growing Partner Territories with the One Solution & Cardinal Sales teams. The territory has a diverse account base with significant competitive potential. The candidate will work closely with National, Traditional Industrial, Welding and Construction distribution. Being able to develop and cultivate relationships with these key partners is critical. Cost saving activities and documentation as well as opportunity development and execution are also requirements of the role.

Key measures of performance are sales, relationship building, proposing & implementing sales growth programs, uncovering new opportunities & managing opportunities through the pipeline.

 


Required Qualifications

This position requires an individual with a proven track record who is a self-starter, creative, personable, team player and can succeed with minimal supervision. A Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience is required. The incumbent should have proven sales and marketing skills and an ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written. Proven analytical, negotiating problem-solving and organizational skills are necessary.

Other required skills include working with distributor salespeople, providing training presentations and demonstrations, regular planning & full engagement of the CRM tool and pipeline process. The incumbent will need to be capable in all Microsoft Office software, web applications, contact management database software and other forms of data mining and analysis.

This position is based in Western New England. Western New England is a picturesque region that offers access to nearby Boston and New York metropolitan areas, while providing affordable housing, Arts, and top notch Health Care and Public Schooling.  All major professional sports are easily accessible, and there are many outdoor activities located within the bounds of the territory with the Berkshire and Green Mountain ranges and Connecticut River.
