Position Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for a full range of account management activities associated with developing, expanding and servicing a large, technical territory. The account base has significant competitive potential.  The territory consists of several large customers comprised of aerospace, cutting tool, bearing, foundry, and general engineering accounts. Collaboration with distribution varies from large integrators to traditional local and national organizations.  Territory accounts are technical in nature and require strategic, focused planning and execution.  Cost saving activities and documentation as well as opportunities development and execution are critical.

RESIDENCY OPPORTUNITIES:

Possible residency locations are southern parts of New Hampshire. Ideally the Manchester / Concord area.   


Required Qualifications

Interested candidates should have a proven sales record managing large complex industrial accounts.  Strong technical aptitude in Grinding applications and products:  Bonded, Superabrasives, Coated, and Surface Finishing and very good organizational skills are required.  A Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience is required. This position requires a person who is highly motivated, works well with others and is capable of managing a complex territory with limited supervision. The ability to coordinate with Product Management and Application Engineering is a must. Several years of progressive technical sales experience in a variety of abrasive applications is desirable. The candidate shall be capable in all Microsoft Office software, web applications, contact management database software, Microstrategy, and other forms of data analysis.
