This position is responsible for building, managing and closing opportunities focused on selling technical textile reinforcements products related to building construction, flooring, filtration, insulation, packaging, and other markets.
The ability to travel is a requisite for the role. He/she maintains a desirable call level on customers and other personnel and continues to maximize the total sales potential of major accounts.
Job Duties Include:
- Identify, pursue and close new prospects
- Conduct regular revenue and forecasting for developed accounts
- Resolve customer issues and cultivate relationships
- Prepare and present formal proposals
- Execute preplanned and organized sales calls. Maintains necessary records for effective follow up.
- Participate in annual budget creation and strategic plans
- Communicate to management the implementation, control and performance of marketing, strategic and gap plans and actions.
- Maintain and control expenses in line with corporate policies
- Remain alert for competitive pricing, products and programs
- Provide written reports to keep management informed of activities
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing with 0-2 years of sales/account management experience is required. The incumbent must maintain professional business relationships with internal and external customers and field representatives. He/she must be Sales and Service oriented and possess strong organizational skills, as well as be thorough, detail-oriented and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The incumbent must be a talented all around communicator via phone, e-mail and in person and must possess strong sales and presentation skills. The position works with a wide range of people representing many different internal and external functions. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing, convey leadership, solve multifaceted problems, and operate with consistency. Proficiency in PowerPoint (including presentation skills), Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
